A global financial services company was growing rapidly and needed to implement a Vendor Management System (VMS). They were looking to implement several solutions and midway through the process, they proposed some recruiting help that morphed into a VMS software implementation.
The client had received bids from several VMS software companies in the area of $100,000. The on-site recruiter took on the project of looking into options as part of the current engagement. The existing Applicant Tracking System was investigated and meetings with the ATS Company were completed. It was determined after these meetings that the existing ATS had a VMS option and that the software agreement with the ATS company included the WMS option. The VMS software was turned on at no cost to the client. The VMS was implemented and, within a week, resumes were being submitted by vendors through the ATS/VMS portal.
